By now, you may have heard the news that FlexPro has been acquired! We’re thrilled to be joining Network Partners, a high-growth professional services firm we’ve known and respected for several years.
Please read the full press release here.
While the acquisition announcement captures the basics of our strategic business synergies (which are very strong), it doesn’t fully capture WHY I believe wholeheartedly this coming together of companies will be wildly successful.
It comes down to this…Cultural Fit.
What’s that quote attributed to management guru to Peter Drucker? “Culture eats strategy for lunch!”
Culture isn’t just built by putting some words in a frame and hanging in every conference room. Culture comes from discovering what’s within the heart of each and every person who joins the organization.
And it’s up to the leaders in the organization to stay true to those core values.
In the 13+ year history of FlexPro, we’ve lived our values through the words Lynn and I wrote in “Our Mantra”. Our leaders guide our daily actions through these values and call each other out when we might sometimes stray.
We were pleased to learn that our new Network Partners colleagues also feel strongly about culture and values. They embody their principles in “Every day we C.A.R.E: Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.”
Again, words on paper alone don’t create a culture. It’s the actions.
As the leaders of Network Partners and FlexPro have gotten to know each other over the last several months, we’ve discovered through some tough discussions and negotiations that ultimately our core values are well aligned.
I’m pleased to highlight two specific points which have resonated strongly:
As we work to integrate FlexPro into the Network Partners organization over the next weeks and months, I invite our FlexPro community of friends and partners to get to know this team at www.networkpartners.com. I’m happy to facilitate an intro or connection to our new colleagues!
To our bright future in FlexPro’s new chapter with Network Partners.
