FlexPro Joins For Pete’s Sake at Ballpark Charity Walk
April 27, 2016 by FlexPro
On Sunday, April 24th, the FlexPro team was thrilled to take part in the 6th Annual For Pete’s Sake Walk at Citizens Bank Park in South Philadelphia. The event, hosted by For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation, saw over 1,500 registered walkers move through the turnstiles into the home of the Philadelphia Phillies for a great cause.
With the sun shining, participants were able to take pictures with local mascots, media members, and even Star Wars characters as the morning progressed. Breakfast and lunch were provided by sponsors while races and games lined the track.
Led by FlexPro co-founders Rose Cook and Lynn Faughey, a dozen team and family members spent the morning rounding the stadium concourse after raising money for the presenting charity. The walk concluded with an exciting trip around the infield diamond at field level, a tour of the Phillies dugout, and pictures at home plate.
For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps adult cancer patients, their caregivers and loved ones. Inspired by the late Peter R.
